Cookie policy
Effective date: 8 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-08.1
Cookies, local storage and similar technologies can store information on your device or access it. This policy describes storage used or prepared for use on the Scalentra website. Optional providers are active only when configured and after you accept the relevant category. The banner and let you choose each optional purpose.
1. Your choices
Essential storage enables the website functions you request and remembers your privacy choices. Analytics, experience analysis and marketing are off by default. “Reject optional cookies” and “Accept all” are available directly on the banner. Scrolling, browsing or closing settings does not count as consent.
Your choice lasts 180 days. You can change it at any time through the footer. Reducing permissions removes accessible first-party tracking cookies and reloads the page so loaded scripts stop running. We cannot delete cookies on another provider’s domain; use your browser or that provider’s settings for those cookies. Previously collected information is subject to the retention and rights described in the Privacy policy.
2. Essential storage
| Name / provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| scalentra_consent Scalentra · localStorage | Stores selected categories, policy version, the time of your choice and its expiry. These details are not shared with advertising providers. | Valid for 180 days. After expiry, the entry is ignored until you make a new choice. Your browser may keep it until it is replaced or you clear the website’s data. |
| scalentra_tag_consent Scalentra · cookie | Stores explicit consent to all optional categories so the server can respect your choice if JavaScript is disabled. The cookie is removed when you withdraw consent. | Until your existing consent expires, up to 180 days. |
| scalentra_locale Scalentra · cookie | Remembers the language you select for the website. | Up to one year. Set when you choose a language. |
| scalentra_demo_confirmation Scalentra · sessionStorage | Shows your meeting and email confirmation details in the tab without adding your email address to a URL. | Up to two hours, or until the tab session ends. Expired entries are deleted when read. |
| scalentra_availability_* Scalentra · sessionStorage | Temporarily caches available appointment times to help the calendar load faster. Contains no visitor details or private event information. | 30 seconds; refreshed while the calendar is open. |
| scalentra_manage_token Scalentra · sessionStorage | Keeps your private booking-management link available in the current tab so you can review, reschedule or cancel your meeting. | Until the tab session ends. The signed link expires after 120 days. |
Hosting infrastructure may also process connection information and use security mechanisms necessary to deliver requests. We do not enable optional Vercel visitor analytics through this implementation.
3. Analytics — Google Analytics 4
Google Tag Manager manages configured website tags. Its container loads only after you accept all optional categories. It stays disabled before a choice, after rejection and on private booking management pages. The fallback for browsers without JavaScript also requires valid, saved consent to all categories.
GA4 measures page visits and successful demo requests after you consent to analytics. It is blocked before consent, including measurement without cookies. Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled. Page URLs are sent without arbitrary query parameters or fragments.
| Cookie | Purpose | Configured retention period |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes browsers for measurement. | Up to 180 days. |
| _ga_<measurement identifier> | Maintains GA4 session and measurement state. | Up to 180 days. |
These lifetimes reflect this website’s shorter cookie-expiry configuration. Browser restrictions can shorten them. See Google’s cookie documentation.
4. Experience analysis — Microsoft Clarity
Clarity provides heatmaps and session recordings after you separately consent to experience analysis. Page text and form areas are masked. Clarity analytics storage is allowed only with this consent; advertising storage remains disabled.
| Cookie / scope | Purpose | Provider retention period |
|---|---|---|
| _clck · first party | Stores Clarity browser identifiers and settings. | 1 year. |
| _clsk · first party | Connects page views into a recording session. | 1 day. |
| CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM · Microsoft domains, where used | Microsoft identification, routing or preference signals. Availability depends on consent signals, provider behaviour and browser controls. | From the current session to approximately 13 months, depending on the cookie. See the provider’s inventory. |
A provider’s cookie may last longer than our 180-day consent period. We still stop loading that provider when consent expires. See Microsoft’s current cookie inventory and recording retention information.
5. Marketing — HubSpot, LinkedIn and Meta
This category allows marketing tracking and conversion measurement by configured providers. The HubSpot browser code is separate from server-side handling of a demo enquiry. Advertising providers may match browsing activity with platform accounts and support advertising audiences under their own policies. We do not enable Meta advanced matching or send form values in conversion events.
| Provider / cookie names | Purpose | Typical retention period |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot: __hstc, hubspotutk | Website visitor and marketing visit history. | 6 months. |
| HubSpot: __hssc, __hssrc | Session count and session-start detection. | 30 minutes / session. |
| HubSpot: __hs_opt_out, __hs_do_not_track, __hs_cookie_cat_pref, __hs_initial_opt_in | Provider privacy preferences or opt-out state where set by the provider or on withdrawal. | Some last up to 6 months; __hs_initial_opt_in is normally 7 days. These do not authorise tracking on this site. |
| LinkedIn: li_fat_id, ln_or | First-party attribution and measurement where enabled. | Typically 30 days / 1 day. |
| LinkedIn domains: bcookie, bscookie, lidc, li_gc, AnalyticsSyncHistory, UserMatchHistory and related provider cookies | Browser identification, routing, provider preferences, audience matching and advertising measurement where used. | Cookie-specific: commonly 1 day to 1 year. See LinkedIn’s inventory for each name. |
| Meta: _fbp, _fbc | Browser identification and attribution of advertising clicks. _fbc is associated with advertising click identifiers when present. | Typically 90 days. |
| Meta domains: fr and related platform cookies, where used | Advertising delivery, measurement and platform functions under Meta’s cookie policy. | Cookie-specific; fr is typically 90 days. |
Provider inventories: HubSpot, LinkedIn and Meta. Cookie names and lifetimes can change with provider updates, configuration and browser restrictions. We review the live inventory when enabling or changing a provider.
6. Legal basis and browser controls
Optional device storage or access requires prior permission under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and Article 225 of ZEKom-2. Related personal-data processing uses consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a). Essential storage is limited to requested functions. See the Slovenian Information Commissioner’s cookie guidance.
Your browser can clear or block cookies and other site storage. If storage is blocked, the site keeps optional tracking off when it cannot save a choice; it may show the banner again. Blocking essential session storage can prevent personalised demo confirmation details from appearing, but does not undo a submitted request.
